Chandra Kay Cantly, 57, of North Richland Hills, Texas passed away on May 2, 2018, in Arlington, Texas.
Chandra was born on March 31, 1961, to Nathaniel and Leola Gilliam Cantly in Amarillo, Texas. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1979 and attended Amarillo College and West Texas A & M University. Following in her father’s footsteps, Ms. Cantly received an Associate Degree in Chemistry from Tarrant County Community College in Arlington, Texas and continued her studies in Chemistry at the University of Texas at Arlington. She worked as an Analytical Chemist in various Labs for more than ten years until her illness.
Ms. Cantly was previously married to Darryl Davis and they raised two sons. She was deeply devoted to her Graceway Church Family in Arlington, Texas. She loved combining spiritual lessons with science experiments to educate children. She was an avid crafter and home decorator.
Ms. Cantly was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Cantly.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, Darius Davis and Donovan Davis, a stepdaughter, Brandi Logan, her parents, two sisters, Nathalie Cantly and Kimberly Cantly Stewart, three brothers, Reginald Cantly, Stanley Cantly and Leonard Cantly, fifteen nieces and nephews and twenty-two great-nieces and nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
