Karen Elaine Jackson, 56, of Amarillo, Texas was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 17, 2017.
Celebration of Life Services will be officiated by Reverend Morris Mitchell.
She was born to her loving parents, the late Earnest Drone and Brenda Joyce Drone of Sacramento, California.
The Lord called home his daughter, a mighty warrior. She fought a good fight. She was known for her strength, her love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed her late night games at the slots. She lifted the spirit of many with her late night and early morning phone calls. She earned the love and respect from everyone around her. She lived and enjoyed every moment of life.
Angels are rejoicing as Karen has earned her wings, leaving behind the greatest memories in the heart of all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Drone and husband, Charles Jackson.
She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer and Tamara Drone, a son, Earnest T. Drone, all of Amarillo, her mother, Brenda Joyce Drone, her grandchildren, Ashley Drone, Tavarus Drone, Freddie Age, Marche Drone, Ra’Kayla Johnson, Queshon Johnson, Karen Johnson, Earnest Drone, Jr., Ty’Quese Drone, Anahjze Drone, Ja’Quavian Miles, Golden Daniels, Za’Len “Juice” Drone and five great grandchildren; her two sisters, Deborah Bowens and Jacquelyn Drone of Sacramento, California, a brother, James “Doddie” Hicks of Houston, Texas, an Aunt, Betty Roland who was like a second mother and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
